Bible and Cultural Memory er et center tilknyttet Afdeling for Bibelsk Eksegese ved Københavns Universitet. Det er finansieret af rammebevillingen "kvindelig forskningsleder" under Forskningsrådet for Kultur og Kommunikation.

Centret undersøger hvordan erindring er et fundamentalt instrument i dannelsen af kulturel, religiøs, etnisk eller national identitet i Det Gamle Testamente. Læs mere her

Conference 25-29. juli 2010 Tartu
The European Association of Biblical Studies will be joined by the Society of Biblical Literature in Tartu, Estonia, from 25-29 July.

Bicum organize two session on the topic: The City as the Space of Remembrance. We also take part in a join session with the research programme "Israel and the Production and Reception of Authoritative Books in the Persian and Hellenistic Periods, on the issue: "Bringing the Past to the Present in Persian/Early Hellenistic Judah/Yehud".
