Registration for courses & exams

Full degree students
First year students are registrated for courses and exams in the first semester by the administration. All other full degree students have to register for courses via self service at KUnet in the period from 15 May to 1 June & 15 November to 1 December. You will be registered for exams upon course registration.

If you failed to register in the registration period or would like to register for another course instead, you have the opportunity to register in the late registration period from 1 September to 1 October & 1 February to 1 March.

If you decide not to participate in the course you have registered for you should cancel your registration before 1 March or 1 October.

Professional master students
You should fill in a course registration form no later than 1 June & 1 December. For optional courses you will be regsitered for the written exam: if you prefer the oral exam instead you should notify the Exams Office no later than 15 March or 15 October. 
 

Credit students (meritstuderende)

You should register for courses and exams by filing out an application form, application deadline is 1 June & 1 December. You will be regsitered for the written exam: if you prefer the oral exam instead you should change your exam registration at KUnet in the registration period 1 to 15 March and 1 to 15 October.

 

Credit students from Humanities at KU (kun tilvalgsstuderende fra HUM)

You should register for courses and exams by filling in the form Forhåndsgodkendelse af tilvalg uden for Det Humanistiske Fakultet. The approved Forhåndsgodkendelse should be sent to the Study Board at the Centre of African Studies. The application deadline is 1 June & 1 December. You will be regsitered for the written exam: if you prefer the oral exam instead you should change your exam registration at KUnet in the registration period 1 to 15 March and 1 to 15 October.

Open university students
You should register for courses and exams by filing out an application form, deadline 1 June & 1 December. You will be regsitered for the written exam: if you prefer the oral exam instead you should notify the Exams Office no later than 15 March or 15 October.

International guest/exchange students
You have to register online via Self Service at KUnet. Registration takes place from 1 December to 1 January & 1 June to 1 July.

  1. Log on KUnet
  2. Log on Self Service (top menu)
  3. Go to Enrolment Courses and Exam (left menu)
  4. Go to Courses (top menu) - and choose Register
  5. Choose Registration Form
  6. Register for one or more courses - Save Registration
  7. Register for Class A or 1 - important to remember!

Once you have registered it is possible to cancel a course and register for another course until 1 March & 1 October at KUnet.
